The family met at Laurel Lodge in December after Christmas and before New Years...22 people out of 27 in our family made it to the cabin...We had a great family time with a new member..Miss Caroline from our South Carolina family...

We're planning to move to a bigger place next year because the family keeps growing..Happy New Year!

This little tree was a gift from Rose last year.  She bought it at KARM. I like it because  I go to the basement, pick it up , bring it upstairs and plug it in..I'm  decorated!

2017 has seen us acquire walkers and wheelchairs and a ramp in the screen room..We are still partying and celebrating  birthdays and happy occasions..

Trip to Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Parkway Oct. 19, 2016

We traveled over the mountain to Pisgah to spend the night..A beautiful colorful trip..We visited Crabtree Meadows where we used to camp..We spent the second night in Spruce Pin..Thank you Mark and Sammie French ..This was our 6th year in the mountains with these two...

June 20, 2016.Paul and Rose took us to Greenbrier to look for the mountain camilia tree..AND WE FOUND IT!!!So beautiful!..We walked the Ramsey Cascade trail ...Nice Father's Day trip...

June 1, 2016...Our annual trip with the Frenches to see the firefly show..

We checked in to the Park View and then watched the fireflies at Elkmont..Next day we went to the top of the mountain and then over to Oconoluftee to see the elk...Wonderful trip!
