David and Melissa hosted a dinner for us on Saturday at the Chop House. The tables were decorated with white roses and diamonds and everyone got a picture of us at our wedding . David made a speech and here are the twins paying rapt attention.

The fellowship hall has never looked so beautiful. Rose had planned and worked for weeks on the decorations. Everyone had a job and it all came together beautifully. There were fresh flowers on all the tables...Rose's blanket hung on the wall over many picture albums of us. The refreshments were delicious : Wedding cake and even a groom's german chocolate cake, pimento cheese and chicken salad sandwiches, homemade mints, a chocolate foutain with strawberries, ginger ale and pineapple sherbet punch. A beautifull decorated arch was in the corner with two seats for us to pose in.
Our grandchildren roamed around taking pictures and greeting people. Here's Butch with his girls. Wendy was the star of the show.!!
We didn't have a wedding cake at our wedding so Rose made sure that we would have one at our 60th celebration. Isn't it beautiful?
