Mountains..

.We had a nice day in the mountains at Look Rock and the Townsend Festival and the Schoolhouse Gap trail...The campground workers showed us where the ladies' slippers were hiding...

We saw the Fairy Wand on the Schoolhouse Gap trail..

This is a sweet shrub on the trail behind Sugarlands Visitor Center.  It has little brown buds that smell delicious..

Trip to the Mountains March 26, 2011

David and Melissa took us to the mountains to see the wildflowers at the Chimney's campground.  We drove to Elkmont and walked a little  and then to our favorite restaurant in Gatlinburg...

New Year's family trip to the mountain cabin...Carson got to join us and we took turns playing with him. Rose and Paul arrived on our last day there and made it a perfect celebration!

We had a beautiful day to hike in Elkmont.
