Cove Lake

We drove to Cove Lake to look at leaves and although they were past peek, it was a beautiful bright day.

We enjoyed a walk around the lake and through the campground. We ate barbecue and sweet potato fries in the restaurant..

We drove through the town of Norris which is about as picturesque as you can get..

Trip to the mountains..

Sammie and Mark took us to the mountains..

Elkmont campground

Cades Cove,,

We drove the Cades Cove Loop Road and then made a side trip to Elkmont. Beautiful Day!

When we got home, this is what I saw out my front window..It's pretty here too.

Day at Big Ridge

Mark and Sammie picked us and the Pruetts up for our day in Big Ridge. It was so pretty there. We drove to the grist mill and we walked through the campground. We drove up the hill to check out the cabins. We walked around to the group cabins... The time went so fast because we were having fun...

It was time to sit on a log and look at the water...

Bill started up his grill and he and Pat cooked hamburgers and hot dogs...

hamburgers taste good outside...
